Like dropping a wounded goldfish in a pirhana tank

I recently became a member of the Theatre 99 family- a group of about 40 improv comics in town.

Yesterday was the first meeting that the whole group was at - including me and my classmates that recently got asked to join “the family.”

In the middle of the meeting, my chair broke and I fell over backwards. Like feet-up-in-the-air fell over backwards.

Imagine something embarrasing and funny happening to you in a literal. room. full. of. comics.

Upon further review, it probably couldn’t have happened to a better person, or in a better place…

  2. That’s too funny. Not that you fell over. That could have hurt. But the fact that you did this in front of a roomfull of comics. Did they play off of the situation? Hope it made for a good improve!

  3. Jackie - got some up there now for you…more on the way!

Last Girl - let’s just say it was like throwing gasoline on a fire! there were comments, jokes, jabs, and one-liners getting thrown out left and right for a good five minutes…I’m sure that when I least expect it, it will come back and haunt me. Like during a performance…
