Man! Can someone call Old Man Winter and tell him that he forgot to swing by South Carolina? It’s like 70 degrees here!
Don’t get me wrong - I’m not complaining about unseasonably warm weather. I’m just saying that there’s something nice about that little bite in the air when it’s cold out. Carolina cold, not Minnesota cold. Like 45-50 degrees cold.
Had an interview with a company today, and wore a sweater because it’s January. But it’s like January in Syndey here! I shoulda showed up in a t-shirt and cutoffs…
Speaking of interviews, the job hunt’s going pretty well. So far, Austin, Seattle, San Diego, and Denver are kicking Chucktown’s butt. Already got a couple encouraging responses from some interesting places. We’ll just see if “My Carolina Period” is coming to an end, or will she come strong with some great opportunity?
As you can see, I’m taking a global view of this search and looking for jobs that I think would be fun to have.
