The “band” (yep, quotations marks. and I’m kind of self-deprecatingly rolling my eyes when I type that word) that I’m in played our first public gig last Tuesday in a Battle of the Covers. Each band could play whatever they wanted for 20 minutes, but the last song had to be a cover of a Beatles tune.
We did pretty well, and have been asked back for the second round, which is tonight!
So, for anyone in the Charleston area looking for something to do on a Tuesday night is reading me today, come on down to The Map Room at 9:45PM tonight!
